So My Heart Dropped and Sank to the Ground. This is Couldn't Be Happening.

The long hiatus may seem like I am turning back on a lot of things that is related to fashion. But I just don't have the time and the drive to be all cheery and fashion-focused anymore. I started this blog way back in 2009 when I was still a teen obsessed with fashion and the fashion world. Don't get me wrong, I still love fashion that's probably why I had to come back today to post something that really struck a cord.

When the New York Times entered my feed, I  couldn't believe what I was reading. I was so preoccupied with the thought of his passing that my thumb could no longer scroll the screen of my phone. There it was, in bold letters. Karl Lagerfeld, Dead.

I looked up to him and the many things he does. It amazes me that he was able to define luxury and how he stayed true to his craft for so many years. I am very sad to know that one of the top fashion  designers or our times are slowly fading away and are slowly being replaced with new legends. The thought of that alone couldn't escape my mind, I hang-on to so many classic fashion designers and am deeply disheartened to know that no one as good as him could ever replace the House of Lagerfeld and Chanel. *sigh

May his soul rest in peace, I mourn with the millions of fans and the many fashionists out there! We lost a star, we lost a legend, we lost Karl. I know that the fashion world could still recover but the fashion world will surely be different without him, without his taste, with out his avant-garde grandeur. I will surely miss looking forward to his designs, I will miss him being a relevant fashion-icon.

Goodbye Karl, thank you! You were my inspiration growing up, you gave me so much to look forward to when I was still young and innocent of the world, you inspired me to pursue fashion and to really up my taste when it comes to understanding fashion for what it truly is, you ignited hope in my heart, and for that, I will  be forever grateful.

Spotted: Karl Lagerfeld Strolling The Streets of St. Tropez

Spotted: Karl Lagerfeld Strolling The Streets of St. Tropez
Spotted: Karl Lagerfeld Strolling The Streets of St. Tropez

This is the second installment of my August 3 random cheesemax! following the Kate Moss gossip is... Ladies?

Attention: To all gloved and ungloved. The Karl has landed.

It's a sight to behold if one see's an amazing fashion designer stroll the streets of St. Tropez. It only means one thing, Fashion Show!

Karl Lagerfeld is, for me, the mother lode of fashion and of all things that is fashionable. He is just exquisite, he is good with his craft and almost everything that would fall within the category of fashion. He is just divine! Speaking of divine, there are two people in these photos that missed the spot I think, are just too, (how does one say it?) fugly! OMG no words could ever describe how distasteful their choice of clothes are well, let us say, fashionably challenged.
Oh, Sebastien Jondeau! Why did you let yourself go?
If you ask me, It's time Karl gave them a little cold, straight interfriention don't you think?

Well? How does Karl Lagerfeld make you feel?

Tell me whatchathink?!

Cheers!

Oh God, I missed Chanel.

Oh God, I missed Chanel.
Oh God, I missed Chanel.

Every fashionista needs a backbone, i lost mine. I feel like fainting.

I'm not that much of a movie goer since my life right now revolves on basically four things: my room, my computer, school, and a cup of coffee. I don't really get a chance to update myself with what's new on the entertainment world but this one, i've pinned this down in the middle corner of my ass brain more than a month ago but somehow, by some conspiracy of Karl Lagerfeld's bodyguard and his wig, it just slipped. I am stupid.

I mean seriously, who could ever forget a movie as important as this? Who in his right fashionable mind would forget the date this movie is going to be shared with the masses? It may not be as fanatical as twilight and their clothes but It's Chanel for crying out loud, the epitome of fashionable purrfectness.

I unconsciously allowed this happen and I am upset. *breathe in, breathe out*

I missed the premier, I've searched for it since yesterday and all i got are nasty nasty torrents for the movie. Just think of how lovely it would be to actually see the movie in theaters? I've even had all things prepared already!

popcorns are so last century beeyatch! let's not insult Madame Coco. ( I wonder what she would be thinking after seeing these fattening nonsense food though). I'm more concerned with Audrey Tautou when she was interviewed about a chanel piece she owns, and she answered "rain boots" Karl doesnt even remeber that anymore. Ha.

Anyhooha, check out the fashion in the movie, its quite interesting, at the time when petticoats and wellingtons existed, Chanel dared to be different, no wonder why its now a multimillion dollar company to date. Check these out kiddies:

They managed to show some famous Chanel poses and portraits that we all love.

and Oh, If any of you was sane enough to have watched the movie please, by all means, tell me how it went cause having not seen it on the released date depresses me, and speaking of depression i know someone who is not amused.

"It's a famine of beauty honey it's a famine of beauty"

*better search me some torrents

and ladies?

That's all.

Cheers!
